About Robertson CountyRobertson County is a county located in the U.S. state of Texas. It forms part of the Bryan-College Station metropolitan area. As of the 2010 census, its population was 16,622. Its county seat is Franklin. The county is named for Sterling C. Robertson, an early settler who signed the Texas Declaration of Independence. As of the census of 2000, there were 16,000 people, 6,179 households, and 4,356 families residing in the county. The population density was 19 people per square mile (7/km²). There were 7,874 housing units at an average density of 9 per square mile (4/km²).
