About Coffee CityCoffee City is a small town in Henderson County, Texas, United States. The population was 193 at the 2000 census. Coffee City is a "wet sliver" of the county. Smith County residents, mainly from the southern part of Tyler, come near this county line to buy beer, wine, and liquor. The county line is approximately 15 miles (24 km) from the edge of Tyler off of State Highway 155. As of the census of 2000, there were 193 people (current census is around 600) With active annexations, 84 households, and 58 families residing in the town.
